Fundraisers

Every year our members along side community volunteers come together in our food booth to offer fried chicken and fries to the public. Our food booth is one of many non-profit vendors during the one week Nevada Country Fair. All sales and profits collected at the end of the event go to our Back-to-School shopping event.  

World Tai Chi is a yearly event that happens around the world simultaneously. During this event, Kiwanis helps promote health and wellness, while making the public aware of what we do. We also offer free tai-chi classes, free healthy snacks and much more fun. 

The Draft horse classic is another event that takes place at our very beautiful Nevada County Fairgrounds. Just like during the fair, our members and volunteers offer fried chicken and fires to the attending public. All profits go to Our Back-to-School shopping event. 

Our fundraisers are always changing and forever evolving, but what remains the same is our mission to help the Children in our community. If you have an idea for a fundraiser and would like us to help bring it to life, please consider making a difference by pitching your idea and joining our club. We welcome all ideas and all peoples.
