Gold Country Kiwanis is a non-profit service club dedicated to Improving the lives of our children and the strength of our local community.

One of our favorite days, donation day! We gave donations to several nonprofits that help enrich the lives of children in Nevada County. They include Marge Shasberger Music in the Mountains; Anne Greco Child Advocates of Nevada County; Gregory Ingram Anew Day; Micah Cone in Concert Sierra; Ian Boalt Nevada County Library; Kelly Reinhardt and Kathy Arnoldi Hope for Nevada County; and Brian Young Prime Cinema Summer Film Flicks. Also pictured Tom Morrissey, Team One Chair and Buckley Armacher, GC Kiwanis President.

Gold Country Kiwanis awarded the South Yuba Club (SYC) two Chuck Coovert scholarship awards for local families. Pictured are Buckley Armacher, Kiwanis club President; Chelsee McBride, SYC Community Program Coordinator; Greg Nichols, Kiwanis Board Member and Mike Carville, South Yuba Club owner.
In addition to hands on community participation, Gold County Kiwanis makes annual financial donations to many non-profits for the benefit of Youth and Senior programs that are essential to our community.
These include multiple college scholarships to Key Club service club graduates from our Nevada Joint Union High School District.
