Who We Are and What we Do

Gold Country Kiwanis is a non-profit service club dedicated to Improving the lives of our children and the strength of our local community.

Hope for Nevada County

Several Gold Country Kiwanis members participated in the Hope for Nevada County event yesterday. Food, school supplies, clothes and other necessities were given to families and children. A great way to support our community!

Community Fitness Day

We had a wonderful day with our Gold Country Kiwanis Club at Community Fitness Day. Tai Chi, Qigong, Harpists from our hospital, our Nevada County Town Cryer, raffle and silent auction items and many more donations to support children and families in our community. Thank you to Homer Nottingham!

In addition to hands on community participation, Gold County Kiwanis makes annual financial donations to many non-profits for the benefit of Youth and Senior programs that are essential to our community.

These include multiple college scholarships to Key Club service club graduates from our Nevada Joint Union High School District.
